Kanchan Ganga Seed Company Private Limited was established in 1984 with a vision to provide Indian farmers with genetically superior and high performing hybrid seeds. Our operations cover research, production, processing, testing and nationwide supply, all working together to deliver seed that meets high standards of purity and performance.
Our research programme is the foundation of our success. Each hybrid is developed through a systematic process of selection, testing and evaluation under multi-location trials. The company’s R&D is recognised by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
More than 150 acres of dedicated research and parent seed farms around Hyderabad and Karnataka support our breeding and testing work.
We operate two modern processing plants located in Nizamabad, Telangana and Haveri, Karnataka. Seeds are carefully cleaned, graded, treated and packed by trained staff to maintain quality at every stage. With a capacity of around ten thousand tonnes per season, our infrastructure supports both commercial and government supply requirements.
Quality is central to every step we take. Each seed batch is inspected for purity, isolation and moisture content, and undergoes germination and grow out testing before release. Only seed that meets or exceeds national standards reaches the farmer.
Kanchan Ganga has company-managed offices in Hyderabad, Delhi and Patna, supported by a strong dealer and distributor network across India. Our seeds are sold through trusted partners and supplied directly to several state governments.
For us, success is measured not only in tonnes produced or acres covered, but in the trust and satisfaction of the farmers we serve. Through continued research, farmer training and field demonstrations, we remain dedicated to improving productivity and ensuring long-term agricultural progress.

Kanchan Ganga holds the distinction of having the largest number of proprietary maize hybrids released and notified through the ICAR system in recent years. Several of these hybrids have remained among the largest selling hybrids in India for more than twenty years, demonstrating their consistency and performance across diverse agro climatic zones.
