Everything You Need To Know About Maize
Maize can be successfully grown in areas receiving annual rainfall more than 600 mm with equal distribution. Maize need bright sunny days for active photosynthesis and rapid growth. Recommended prebasal FYM 5-8 ton / Ac

- Apply N in three equal split at basal, knee height & flowering stages, apply total P as basal dose and apply K in two equal splits at basal & flowering stages.

- During Critical stages like germination, flowering and grain filling moisture stress can be reduce yields up to 30 – 60 %.
- Pre-emergence Herbicide: Spray Atrazine 1.0 kg / Ac. 3 to 4 gram / 1 Ltr of water as pre-mergence 1 – 2 days after sowing.
