Where research, production and
processing come together

Our operations are designed to maintain the genetic and physical quality of every seed lot that reaches the farmer. From careful hybrid development and multi location testing to supervised production, systematic processing and strict quality assurance, every step reflects our commitment to delivering seed that performs reliably in the field.

Research is the foundation of our success. Our programme is shaped by the farmer’s need for a better product in terms of genetic superiority, and every hybrid is bred, tested and evaluated using scientific methods and international standards.

Our research activities include:

  • Maintenance of well managed research fields with detailed observation records.
  • Evaluation of thousands of hybrid combinations under multi location trials conducted both by the company and government agencies.

  • Identification and multiplication of superior hybrids under the supervision of experienced research staff.

  • Grow out tests performed at our own research farms to ensure genetic uniformity and hybrid purity.

Our R&D programme is formally recognised by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and has produced some of the largest selling maize hybrids in India through the ICAR system.

We are also consistent contributors to global research bodies such as ICRISAT and CIMMYT, strengthening our breeding work with international expertise.

Our research infrastructure includes more than 150 acres of dedicated research and parent seed farms across Hyderabad and Karnataka, supporting hybrid development and early generation seed production.

Our production system is built on a wide network of trained organisers, supervisors and farmers who work across high yield regions in Telangana and Karnataka. Every production step is monitored to maintain isolation, purity and crop health.

  • High yield areas are identified for commercial production.

  • Production organisers manage trained supervisors and farmer groups.

  • Parent seed produced by the company is supplied for multiplication.

  • Company staff supervise the crop from sowing to harvest to ensure quality.

  • All produce is moved to drying or processing plants immediately after harvest.

This disciplined system ensures genetic purity and stable production volumes suitable for both commercial and government supply requirements.

Our processing facilities are equipped to handle large volumes of hybrid seed while maintaining quality standards. Each batch is cleaned, graded, treated and packed by trained staff.

  • Seed cobs are shifted to the drying plant where moisture is reduced from 35 percent to 10 percent for safe storage.

  • Dried seed is processed using cleaning, grading and polishing machinery.

  • Seeds are treated with approved chemicals to maintain vigour and health.

  • Packing is done in 1 kg, 5 kg and 50 kg bags depending on market and government requirements.

  • Finished seed is dispatched to government godowns in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, as well as distributors across India.

We operate two company owned processing plants:

  1. Nizamabad, Telangana
  2. Haveri, Karnataka

Additional vendors in Telangana support expanded processing capacity when required.

Quality is central to everything we do. Every batch of seed passes through multiple tests before it is approved for market release.

Our quality checks include:

  • Inspection for purity and field isolation

  • Moisture testing

  • Germination testing

  • Physical quality evaluation

  • Grow out testing at our own farms near Hyderabad

All tests follow standards laid down by the Government of India. Seed is released only when it meets or exceeds these standards.

Specialised equipment such as germination machines and moisture meters are used to ensure accuracy.

Our operations are supported by company owned offices, modern processing plants, research farms and trained teams that collectively ensure consistency and reliability.

  • Offices located in Hyderabad, Delhi and Patna.

  • Two large processing plants in Telangana and Karnataka.

  • More than 150 acres of research and parent seed farms.

  • Trained staff with decades of experience in seed production and processing.

We work closely with farmers through field days, crop demonstrations and cultural practice guidance to ensure better yield and crop understanding.

  • Field days conducted with farmers, dealers and officials.

  • Demonstration plots used to showcase hybrid performance.

  • Guidance provided on cultural practices for improved yield.

  • Continuous feedback collected from farmers and dealers to guide future research and product planning.
