Everything You Need To Know About Bajra

Bajra Fodder hybrid has the ability to produce numerous tillers and can grow tall up to 12-14 feet. It has stay green character for longer period. Bajra fodder hybrid is more tolerant to drought than sorghum. Fodder crops can be grown well on a wide range of soil type, well drained soils are most suitable. Avoid acidic and saline soils.
Weed Control: 1 kg Atrazine 50% WP per acre in recommended for better weed management.

  • Sowing: Summer, Kharif and Rabi (only where the temperature doesn’t go too low)
  • Fertilizer: 5 to 6 tons of F.Y.M per acre. N: P: K, 15:20:15 (Basal dose) N.30K (60 kg Urea) after 15 days of germination and 50 kg Urea after every cut.
